…Machiavelli is correct, at least in these times. The major powers need to protect their people and keeping armed is the right way to go. Lying to the population once and a while is also a good idea. In this day and age, Machiavelli~{!/~}s ideas and thoughts are more conceivable then Lao-Tzu~{!/~}s. Maybe in the future the world will be a more peaceful planet but for now the ideas of Machiavelli shall prevail.
