A recent report on the ban the production and the use of landmines which appeared in the International Post caught my attention. But, if the world states stop producing and distributing their landmines and start destroying whatever they have instead, then the poor people who have nowhere to go to other than their warn-torn village can have at least the peace of mind that they are walking on a safer future.
