…get one point, the bell chimes, and I win. The fight was more intense then usual. The kicks were harder from both fighters, but the stakes were also higher. The outside-crescent kick to the head was in retrospect, too risky for an actual tournament. The State Champion match did however inspire me to become more involved in Tae Kwon Do. More importantly the round showed what practice and perseverance will do for those who try.
