We are all looking for a way to define ourselves; a way to understand whom it is that we are in the world. Often, we try to create identities for ourselves by looking at the ways in which we are different from other people. This by itself is not necessarily bad, for it is true that all people are in some ways unique and there is nothing inherently wrong in feeling that way if unique.

so many Muslims feel the need for a resurgence of Islam in their countries. We have seen how it has stemmed from Egypt and spread all through out the Middle East. We have seen the great influence it has had on Iran and I am sure we will see in the future how it will effect other Middle Eastern and Muslim societies. Hopefully its effect will be a beneficial one, rather than a violent one.
