…the helpless Cordelia struggled to get out of the way of the hand of evil and did not succeed. Even though I feel that King Lear is Shakespeare's greatest work now, I have much to learn about his magical works. Every play I have read to this point had their own good qualities, but I could not relate to the plays or feel for the characters like I did with the play of King Lear.
