King Lear is a tragedy unlike any other works written by William Shakespeare. This play focuses on so many aspects that the audience can relate with and it creates a bond between the characters and the audiences, especially with Cordelia. It shows what can happen when evil gains momentum and over throws good.

the helpless Cordelia struggled to get out of the way of the hand of evil and did not succeed. Even though I feel that King Lear is Shakespeare's greatest work now, I have much to learn about his magical works. Every play I have read to this point had their own good qualities, but I could not relate to the plays or feel for the characters like I did with the play of King Lear.
