…how badly she has treated Pip. Pip, Miss Haversham and Estella redeem themselves before the end of the novel. It is evident that the twists in the novel tie up at the end. Pips evolvement from being a peasant, to a gentleman and then to a well developed, mature young man is the man theme of the story. It is ironic to see that Pip does develop, but not in the way he first expected.
