…the U.S. and each individual sate. Taxes could now be laid and collected by Congress, therefore eliminating the need and failure for the states to collect. The Constitution was able to provide a national defense, it allowed the government to raise funds thru taxation, and formed a strong state bond through the centralized government. Although perfect harmony will never be achieved in government, these were positive changes to help run a more efficient government.
