…the willingness of a man with a rope to try and save a tree in an almost life threatening situation. Each viewer can interpret the content in a number of ways, but that is what I believe Homer was trying to capture. It is a beautiful piece of work and a reference for anyone who is looking for determination. How can one man move that large tree? He looks determined and that's all that matters.
