It was the last period, tied 0-0. I had the game on my stick, just me and the goalie. The clock was ticking down, 36...35...34. Did you just think that I was going to tell you what happened next? Nice try. I have to build up some suspense first. A lot of hard work went into that one moment, at least for some people. For others, they could have cared less if we won or lost.

That goal ended up being the only goal in that whole game which declared us the midget house league champions. Just after the game was over my coach came over to talk to me. He said, "Great job Sam, for a second there, I was worried". I turned to him and replied, "Really? I wasn't". *I needed to add some more detailed description to provoke the readers senses. I also had a few gramatical errors.
