The felling that the imagery in Hamlet portrays from the visual descriptions of disease, poison, and decay shows a world of horrible tragedy to the reader. Hamlet is obsessed with death and hates everyone attached to him except horatio who he admires. A play without imagery is like a federal document. It makes it very bland. People read books to be entertained and imagery does this.
