Giotto a pre-renaissance artist and architect, was born 20 miles North of Florence Italy in the valley of the Mugello. It was described by his admirer John Ruskin as, a Lonely landscape. through doing this report on him I feel like I more fully understand the transition between the Medieval times and the Renaissance. There is also a clear distinction in all the steps that artists have had to climb referring to the perspective problem and being able to portray emotions and feelings. And finally the way everyone slowly pulled away from the churches influence and started focusing on the actual real lives of us earthly people.
