…feat, however, the results were not as one would have hoped. Similar stupidity exists in this world today. Nothing can change that, and Orwell more than likely was not looking to change the world. He accomplished a lot by revealing some of the inane human actions that many do not realize. Orwell wrote a successful book that is still read half a century later, giving insight to students and even adults in this "modern" society.
