In this scientific age, experiments such as cloning, for instance, clearly shows that it is actually humans who somewhat have control over our genes. As far as genetic determinism is concerned, it can be safely concluded that no matter how important our genes are, human beings are not and cannot be solely defined by their heredity. Genes just determine our inherited characteristics- not our life.
