…The role of the Government in Roosevelt's eyes was to aid and regulate the U.S. economy until it can run on its own. Roosevelt's New Deal programs dealt with banking reform laws, emergency relief programs, work relief programs, and agricultural programs, all attempts for relief, recovery, and reform from the Depression.
