In the present, Frankenstein is seen as a story of a hideous and vicious monster named Frankenstein created by a mad scientist. While reading this book, I learned that this is not the truth. In fact, the scientist was named Frankenstein while the monster had no name. Most people are brought to believe that the scientist was mad, which he was in some respects, but he was not intended to be portrayed as being mad.

be named the villain of this novel. I believe that the monster is the villain. He did not begin his existence as evil, society drove him to evil. Even though he began as innocent, the abuse he endured does not give him the excuse to run rampant and kill others. There is no excuse for murder. I definitely feel sympathy for the monster, but I just feel that he shouldn't have done what he did.
