Fight for Your Rights
Through the years, many different groups of Americans have been treated unfairly. They have been denied equal rights and opportunities. Some of these groups were Women, Blacks, immigrants, mentally ill patients, Native Americans, and colonists. It was a while before these groups spoke out for what was right. These groups were not given equal rights but the spoke out for what they believed.

but the Cherokees went to the Supreme Court to try and stop it. Women were the last Americans to receive the right to vote but the got together to make the Declaration of Sentiments to show that they were equals. The colonists were being unfairly taxed but they did many things to show the British what they wanted their rights. All of these things would eventually lead up to a very diverse and equal country.
