My favourite literary character is Winston Smith. He is the main character in the novel 1984 by George Orwell. I consider him to be my favourite character for a few reasons. Not only this but he is secretly indoctrinated to the Brotherhood, which is a secret rebellion against the Party and Big Brother, and constantly meets with O'Brien in order to plan and talk about the rebellion.
