…a full red moon and the House of Usher being torn apart by a whirlwind. Edgar Allen Poe had a way to make someone get chills even in the 21st century by reading his stories. I believe that this story in particular had the most symbolism for any of his stories that I have read. After reading some of his stories and doing research on him, I can see why people considered him a madman.
