Eating Disorders among female athletes.

Abstract
This research examines the dimensions of eating disorders in young female athletes. Eating disorders in female athletes may result in adverse health consequences and even cause death. Previous research has found that among female athletes, the prevalence of disordered eating behaviors is between 15% and 62%.
