The pantomime that I am going to review is Dick Whittington and his cat by Mark Clements. The production was held at Derby playhouse and ran from 26/11/02 to 18/01/03.

I think this may have interested the adults more. The storyline and set were superb and it was a very nice experience. I think that Clements made a mistake with King Rat and could maybe have made him slightly more of a baddy as I think that King Rat had quite a comedy role. I think that the pantomime was successful but could have been more so with a few minor alterations to the script.
