…It took us a several days to reach the Reims Cathedral, and I was absolutely exhausted; but being so close to something so magnificent revitalized my spirits. It was magnificent and splendid. The Reims Cathedral was unlike the two we had seen before. It was symmetrically balanced and ornately decorated. It had been a great trip, but I was definitely ready to go home, and oh the stories I could tell about my first pilgrimage.
