conclusion the two poems compare because they are both protest poems, and about the people who died whilst they were protesting. Also they are both at capital cities. However they are both different because in Tiananmen the government kills the protesters, but in Belfast Confetti the protesters are the ones killing the innocent people. Tiananmen is a communist capital whereas Belfast Confetti is a scene of sectarian troubles. So overall I preferred to read Tiananmen.
