…seems to be an easy way out for Lady Macbeth, mentally it just ends up hurting her and other people. By manipulating King Duncan, being a hypocrite towards her own husband, and by letting everyone think that Macbeth is ill, this point is proven. Death for all in inevitable, and Lady Macbeth appears to think that lying will help her save herself. Lady Macbeth is quite possibly the most deceitful and hypocritical character in Macbeth.
