…It has been a continuous and extensive battle for the Aboriginal people but it has resulted in success. This attainment is mostly evident with the creation of the new territory Nunavut. If the Inuit people of Canada can gain their own self-determination and distinction in this way then it is highly feasible that the remaining Aboriginal peoples of Canada can come to similar agreements with the Canadian government to achieve this goal in the future.
