…supernatural way. As entertaining as I find it, I think it should not be taken that seriously. If we saw teachers, relatives, or whoever as a representation of a monster or vampire in Buffy, we wouldn't BE Buffy and slay them or stake them in the heart; it would be illegal if we killed them. Gothic Literature in my opinion should be taken seriously to a degree, but nothing more than giving you the creeps.
