Prophecy: a prediction of the future under the influence of divine guidance. In the novel Brave New World, Huxley writes of ideas that are so futuristic they are seen to be almost insane. Huxley touches upon numerous imaginative thoughts within his work that would not have even crossed the minds of citizen during that period in time.
