…was a true leader that dies tragically. Overall, Beowulf is a good book and I would highly recommend it. The detail in which the story is told is amazing. The subtle hints dropped in the story make it more than just another story that was passed down orally. Understanding the story on many levels will help you to absorb many aspects and views on certain things and will open up a window into medieval culture.
