B. F. SKINNER
Burrhus Frederic Skinner was born in Suaquehanna, Pa., on March 20, 1904. He became interested in psychology while attending Harvard University and was inspired by Bertrand Russel's articles on behaviorism. Behaviorism originated with the work of John B. Watson, an American psychologist. Watson claimed that psychology was not concerned with the mind or with human consciousness. Instead, psychology would be concerned only with behavior.
