Autism research is currently ranked 50th out of 60 in major areas funded by the National Institute of Health. Autism not only affects the individual, but their siblings and entire family as well. With today's number of 1 in 150 children being affected by autism, the need for continued support from family, friends, doctors, researchers, and others is necessary. Hopefully one day every child affected with this disorder will be able to tell their parents they love them.
