The United Nations is made up of 185 member nations from around the globe, while NATO is made up of twenty-six, mostly European countries. NATO served it's purpose and deterred the Soviet menace from conquering Western Europe. Nations do not have friends, they have common interests. Now it is time to rely and trust in the U.N.
