Unlike what we had predicted, the water clarity of our experiment actually increased, and other organisms, namely protist surprisingly survived better than those in the control. The clam that was put in the control tank died, unlike the one in the experiment, which together with the number of protists gives us an idea that more plants actually creates a better environment for other organisms, and supports bio-diversity.
