Wilfred Owen (1893-1918) is the greatest of the lost poets of World War I. He thought the war was a totally ridiculous activity with disastrous and tragic results. He has mentioned that in poems like Dulce et Decorum Est, Anthem for Doomed Youth and Disabled.
