American Dream
The American Dream is alive and well. The Declaration of Independence has placed a belief upon Americans. This belief has made America seem like a place for everyone; it has turned people from rags to riches, and made America one of the most appealing countries in the world. The belief is that everyone has his or her own freedom, like Thomas Jefferson stated, "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".

As of today, I believe that the American Dream is alive and well. Open your eyes, and look around. We have freedom and rights. Day by day we are living out our dreams, making them reality; although they may not be noticeable, Americans' dreams are coming true. Everyday more opportunities are handed to you, whether you see them or not; now it just depends on if you take the opportunity to live out your dream.
