Affirmative action rates right up there with having a conversation about politics. When people start discussing politics, everybody has their own ideas and beliefs. …high expectations, but didn't quite meet the mental standard! "You can't be the door gunner on the space shuttle, if you can't even spell space shuttle"! I am not the perfect example to use, but when I found out I didn't meet the mental standard for the military police field, I didn't scream affirmative action to get what I wanted. I took a step back so to speak and attacked my goal though other means.
