A simple thing such as turning off the lights when no one is using them reduces the amount of electricity we use and therefore reduces the electricity a power plant has to produce. Also car-pooling, using public transit, bicycling and walking reduces the pollutants that come from vehicles. The more informed we, as a society, are about acid rain, the more we can do to make our world a cleaner and healthier place to live.
