…Gene and Finny are both happy with their improvements. This is an example of why it is important for a person to accept a friends strengths and weaknesses. All relationships have disagreements, especially friendships. It takes even better and greater friends to accept one another without any conditions. Even with conflicts, we find out, not only in the novel but also in real life, that friendships grow with conflict and are almost non-existent without it.
