After reading Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, I immediately found that I had connection with it. It was much more than the fact that I love Shakespeare's works. Helena dealt with it by continuing to follow behind Demetrius even though she'd grown accustomed to his rejection. People like myself deal with it by writing about it and moving on. No matter how it's dealt with, unrequited love will always be something that people around the world go through. I'm just grateful that there are plays out there like this one that make light of the situation instead of dwelling on the negative aspects.
