…in most cases, the outlook for those with only arthrogryposis is a positive one. Unlike many other conditions, arthrogryposis is non-progressive which means that it does not worsen with age. Also, with physical therapy and other available treatments, improvement in function and rang of motion is usually possible. Most people with arthrogryposis have normal intelligence and are able to lead productive, independent lives as adults just like everyone else that did not have the disease.
